The food here is great. We ordered medium cooked steak and it was delicious. Love their salt and pepper calamari as a side dish. Staff and service are great! We would love to come here again.
What a shock to go here for lunch and see how nice it looks but that’s it.
Food average bland and tasteless
Overpriced for the place it is
The wine with the lunch deal has to offer taste like vinegar.
The staff are not friendly especially the guy behind the bar area , someone needs to let him know that a smile goes along way.
First and last time unprofessional cafe do not go here as the shopping complex across the road has so many more cafes and restaurants for a cheaper and better time.
Doing very good things at the moment.
Their lunch special is terrific value! Home made gnocchi, slow cooked lamb, salmon – all well executed. Desserts looked fab – chai creme brulee and lemon tart – very enjoyable.
All coffees served hot – just ask Danak ( silent ‘k’) to make them!
Add in vouchers and this food is exceptional value. Only disappointment was, that they are no longer BYO.
Worth the drive to Mt. Waverley ( easy parking).
Had a coffee meeting here after the breakfast rush. Fast attentive service. Good coffee and quiet atmosphere. Perfect. Overall very happy and will return.
This cafe is attached to a hotel, and is at a very random location. I wouldn’t have come here without an Entertainment Book voucher, but I’m so glad I gave it a try because the food was fantastic! We ordered several dishes to share: sliders, tacos, dips and chips. Everything was delicious!
Went her for my mums birthday just over a week ago and it was very average. Drink orders were done in a reasonable time but menus took a while to come out, maybe 20 minutes and there were only 3-4 other tables. Once food orders were finally taken (after calling overt the waitress to take them) food took a ridiculously long time to come out. There was 16 of us but only a few had an entree (pork belly and oysters) which took at least 40-50 minutes top come out. Then we waited at least another 40 for mains by which time everyone was saying how hungrey they were. The food was great but people did say the pork belly was quite fatty and should have been cooked more. Never got checked on by the waitress or waiters unless we called them over and at several stages the bar staff and floor staff just stood around chatting rather than serving customers. Wouldn’t go back just because the travel isn’t worth the service. And from what I can see from other reviews is speed and time management need to be improved here hope management sees this as it could be a great place.
Have been here 5 to 6 times now and haven’t been disappointed with the food yet. Last time had the risotto with mushrooms and duck confit with Grana Padano.. Really nice combination and came out very splendid. During one Christmas, had a very nice meal and a nice combination dessert plate to share. Easy to find a table and the atmosphere is good. The service has always been impeccable. Actually don’t have any negative words to say which is always a plus.. Also, they have a rather extensive wine list…
