This is a srilankan spot with typical restaurant food such as lamprais, biriyani, Kottu and short eats. This is more of a take out spot if you want that nostalgic feeling. It’s not as great you’d like, the rice and curry was available with 3 curries which were medicine. Got myself a woodapple drink which was good though with a ton of sugar in it.
Definitely not a take out spot, but good to try it out once in a while.
As Kotthu Roti lover, I entertained Spicy Flames. The veggie kotthu roti had more cashews than the roti. Extremely liberal with chilli flakes for a ‘medium spicy’ request – as if it were a dare. Possibly good with other menu options but I was unimpressed and very disappointed that the dish served felt like an experimental effort in the kitchen. Far from even being average. Giving it a 2 because I was served with a smile.
