Picked up a vanilla slice from here on the way home from Bright. One of the better vanilla slices I’ve had in a while, beautifully custardy, and held good form.
Nice friendly staff, typical old school bakery offerings, great coffee. Pretty good vanilla slice but we shall continue our quest to sample them all across the world.
I dropped by this bakery while on a road trip. I had their chicken bacon & mushroom pie, tastes great and very satisfying. Great crust and pie filling was very tasty. The bakery has seating indoors and looks nice and clean. Lots of sweet baked goods. The bake house also had fresh bread and hot tasty looking spuds. The locals were dropping in to buy their bread so it must be good. Great little bakery to recharge at.
