This place probably has the best Sri Lankan rice and curry in south eastern suburb. I have been here many times and would not disappoint you!
Place spends more time shut than open. Owners need to figure out if they are in the food business or not. While the food is ok its not worth driving all the way here to find it shut at 8 o’clock on a Friday night.
Stopped by on our way to Phillip Island. Wonderful Srilankan takeaway shop, I wish you’re in my local (Werribee). Took away pan rolls, malu bread, briyani, lump rice and other sweet snacks on the counter. All so good!! My friends, who knew nothing about Srilankan food before, love them and wanted more 🙂
The best thing about this place is the breads (malu bread, pan rolls, kimbula buns) that you don’t find in many other Srilankan places (Cinnamon, Hop n Spice). Pan rolls are starting to pop up in some Srilankan grocery shops nowadays. Will come visit again if I’m ever in the area.
Best Sri Lankan takeaway place in this part of town. Really affordable too! Love their lump rice, biriyani, snacks etc. you can dine in too.
If you are looking for the best authentic Sri Lankan Rice & Curry in Melbourne, this is the place. Remember, Rice & Curry, home style cooked….. You wouldn’t find a better place.

Sensible. If you wish to have an authentic Sri Lankan meal around Narre Warren you cannot go pass Matara Bath Kade (MBK). Prices are unbelievably reasonable. Variety is somewhat limited but always yummy.
