Three of us went for lunch today and I ordered the lamb pita. The chef put the meal up ready for the wait staff, who, rather than serving, walked past it on 6 occasions whilst just putting drink glasses away. Finally, literally 10 minutes after the meal was ready, the waitress brought it over. No surprise that the lamb was cold, so I returned it. With barely an apology from the waitress, I had to then cancel the order as others in our group were already well into their meals, leaving no time to prepare a new meal. Can’t comment on the food quality since I went without lunch, though I can’t recommend the service- not enough staff, who seemed to think it’s OK to deliver cold meals to different members of a group 15 minutes apart.
My Mum, sister & I went to Switch over the weekend and had the lunch special which includes a wrap or roll with beer battered chips, salad and a drink for $20 – excellent value for money. I selected the pulled pork roti wrap which was very filling and had a generous amount of pork. There is a great range of other items on the menu too and the cake & coffee deal for $10 is also very appealing (the cake selection looks great). Staff were attentive and service was prompt. The venue could use with a freshen up though and the booth seats would benefit from a steam clean. Overall, I would recommend Switch to others and would visit again.
Went for dinner yesterday. Service was terrible by the staff. I ordered the Southern Style chicken which came with a chipotle sauce. When placing the order I asked for chillie sauce as well. I was surprised & disappointed when our food arrived without cutlery & serviettes. None of these items were on the table & we weren’t informed by the staff that we should pick them up ourselves. Having asked the wait staff to get them & none arriving my friend went inside & got it so that we could eat our meals. Having asked two other staff for the chillie sauce, I did not get any & never received any apology either. My chicken was dry & had very little of the sauce to eat my meal which was not enjoyable. The other diners with us had the 2 calamari & 1 cake & coffee which was average. The coffee arrived lukewarm when extra hot was ordered. Overall a very disappointing experience. Zomato rating is overrated. Should be a 1. Wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon.
