Got myself some chicken and chips, I had to dig through the pile of chips to get to the chicken. The chips were a mixture of old and new chips, they weren’t the best and underseasoned. The fried chicken from bain marie was also heavily underseasoned but for the large pieces I got wasn’t dry. Still don’t see the attraction to their fried chicken.
It’s a favourite spot for a lot of Kiwis, one lady even came in and bought out their entire supply of pies so they must be good. Maybe next time.

Got home 20 mins later and the fried chicken were still amazing. The fried chicken combination consists of 3 drumsticks, 2 breasts, 3 wings and 1 thigh. Chicken breasts were juicy, thigh was juicy and crispy. Flavor hits right on the spot.
There are generous pieces of beef in the pie, nice texture and flavor.
This place will be my favorite spot for fried chicken, officially saying bye bye to KFC.
Staffs are friendly.
Highly recommended.
