Very poor. We advised them before that 10 of us will be coming for dinner at 8:00 pm . When we were placing the order we were being advice that only goats are available. The waiter was present while we were discussing the order but never mentioned the dishes we were interested in was not available and waiter was really arrogant.

Clean, neat and well-presented restaurant. Not your typical Indian restaurant- it’s Bangladeshi style food that is full of flavour (think hilsha pulao, khechuir and mughlai parathas, yummmy!), although there are also your typical Indian favourites such as butter chicken. The food here tastes home-cooked, not mass-produced. Generous portions, reasonably priced. Definitely a taste of home for Bengalis, and a great place to try some Bengali fare!

Very Very……….Well just read. I normally write long reviews and this wont be any different but be cautioned of my language. First time i had tandoori chicken which they served sweet chilli sauce from a bottle on top of, chicken was dry and overly sweet because of the sauce, the butter chicken my favourite dish but no! I understand butter chicken is a dish made for westerners who cannot tolerate big amounts of heat so its a sweeter dish of curry, but this was ridiculously sweet and the garlic naan although enormous in size lacked flavour, and was chewy with garlic raw from a bottle pasted on. They did not have half of the stuff i wanted available to order and the customer service was for a lack of a better word shitful. Not one smile or thank you.

Second time was today. My friend tried to convince me that the goat biriyani was the best and that it matched upto anything in india. So i went along, and low and behold no smile, no hello, no water or cutlery on arrival. Goat biriyani arrives served with a few bits of lettuce which had brown bits on them, a few dried out cuts of carrots and cucumber, a cold boiled egg served with a spicy gravy sauce. The biriyani itself was bland in itselfs. It essentially was a few pieces of goat with a whole lot of rice. The only thing i will say is the raita was nice, a little too much sugar in it but non the less tasty. My favourite part of my experience was the refreshing water. Overall food 2/10 ambience 4/10 customer service 1/10.
