    Food 7.6/10
    Customer service 5/10
    Environment 8/10
And a lot for great deals on certain days including the famous Tuesdays 2 for 1
Cool chilled place to bring the family for a low key meal that you will enjoy

    Large meals lots of food.
    Decent prices.
    Drinks fairly cheap.

My only concern was customer service but generally speaking the staff here make an effort
But I will be and have been returning to the Sandown Park Hotel

I visited this hotel with my daughter and son in law for dinner and couldn’t believe how big this place is, the staff were quite friendly, I ordered a porterhouse steak with garlic bread as an entre, the steak tasted great and I enjoyed it a great deal, would definitely return and recommend this hotel

Went here for tea for my best mates missus birthday and was fairly empty for a Saturday night so the service was quick didnt have to wait long for food and the 2 for $12 crownies were a ripper #drunklife the only criticism was the price of the meals when you can walk next door and halve your bill comes out of the same kitchen. The seafood platter was nice never enough sauce and me trying to peel prawns half cut forget about it hahaha

Having visited here to for Greyhound races this was the first time we decided to eat at the Bistro, and what a very pleasant surprise! Tuesday night are specials night, very fresh and tasty meals for only $14. Service and wait staff are very attentive and efficient was very impressed with that level of service for a suburban Bistro of this type. Nice decor, not too noisy despite being close to the gaming area. Just a very pleasant dining experience all round. Hats off to the staff and the chef’s, will definitely be coming back again.

Visited Sandown park last night for a lovely meal! Food was delicious. ..Service wasn’t great! We didnt get told that kitchen was closing and we couldn’t have Desserts! ; ( Also a very LARGE Possum appeared in the Dinning Room area…NOT very hygienic. .but great Entertainment! Apparently he’s a regular visitor ( according to a staff member) which tells me that no one has tried to re home him!! … poor thing is terrified! Not to mention that he’s probably scrounging in the kitchens at night! …

Food good but service always slow.. We enjoy eating here regularly but while the food is always good the service has been notoriously slow for years.
The same staff doing the tables have to juggle the bar. They seem to refuse to hire enough staff for an average night.

Hadn’t been there for a while so thought we’d use the Entertainment Book voucher and go along. Stood at the front entrance for almost 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged/seated us. Service again was slow at the bar. Diners are handed a beeper after ordering their meals and wait for the alarm to sound to then go and pick up their meals – bit like a food court really but at restaurant/sit-down prices! Meals were ok/average, hot at least and ready together. Glad we didn’t pay full-price for the overall experience. Won’t hurry back.
