Best atmosphere! The staff are lovely and accommodating, the food is delicious and fairly priced and the coffee is exceptional! Don’t even get me started on the decor This is my favourite cafe in Melbourne and everyone should try it! Good place to study or do some work too
I head down here once a week with workmates and always enjoy myself. Great table service from Marcel who has memorised our usual orders.
I always pick either the superfood or quinoa salads which are both superb but my workmates love the breakfast options available all day. Highly recommend it.
Came here for Middle East breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. The dinning area is very spacious, there are different sizes of private meeting rooms which you can book for private dinning.
I love going to Ample to just kick back and relax and have a great meal. Never disappoints! Halloumi burger is normally a favorite for me but today I tried the sujuc with eggs and I now have a new favorite Looooove the Nutella and peanut butter thickshake
First time here…. Had the Ample breakie $20…. hmmmm small piece of sour dough not buttered… spinach and mushrooms soaked in salt water not edible. Bacon not crisp… sweated to almost seemed steamed..hashbrown.. how do you get this wrong?? Too dry on one side and the other seemed to be soaked in oil!! Egg which I asked for scrambled was ok. Not great but heck it’s scrambled and edible. sausage I think was the highlight!! yep the spicy sausage fried in pan is the best bit of the whole thing??
mgt CHANGE YOUR COOK!!! Or pay more attention to the pan!! come on I’m not expecting a chef hat here!! But this stuff is simple!!
The barramundi on the lunch special barramundi was fresh but I have my doubts about the quality of the tomatoe sauce.. smelt sour to a point where it could be off?? We left it and ate the fish only … YMMV my experience only
oh btw it’s self serve here!! you have to get your own cutlery etc… either that or service is lousy!!! we were given menus when we sat down expecting table service… but alas was not meant to be .. oh well
Visited with a friend and her two kids. They catered for the 18 month old well with a kids menu and toys.
Unfortunately they didn’t cater very well to my celiacs disease, while they had gluten free bread and the kitchen went out of there way to make sure it was prepared appropriately, unfortunately the waitress was useless in knowing what might contain gluten. Does the mayo have gluten? I don’t know. Does the pulled pork have a sauce? I don’t know. Didn’t even offer to go ask the kitchen. My chicken cheese and spinach sandwich was nice but plain because the waitress wouldn’t walk 5 m to the kitchen which clearly understood my issue.
We went at a very busy time and I thought they did really well. Service was quick and efficient. I had the corn fritters and they looked great but needed more seasoning so were a little bland. Others had a burger and ate most of it. Overall it was good.
