Possibly the best Korean BBQ joint around. Its a big call I know, but one I am willing to stand by. It feels extremely authentic and the quality of the meat is very good. The bottomless kimchi are perfect with the various animal proteins. The extractor fan could perhaps work a better but who expects to not smell like a walking BBQ after a few hours at a place like this?

Not a particular fan of the quality of food – more misses than hits but great if you really NEED that kbbq fix and yeonga/wooga is busy.

    Ordered:
Donwoori A: Scotch Fillet, top side beef (with salt & pepper), marinated flank beef, kimchi stew & 2 rices ($43.00)
    Pork belly: ($15.00)
    Vegetables: ($5.00)
    Seafood Kimchi Pancake ($15.00)

    Review:
There’s a limited selection of meats to choose from – and from the 4 we tried the marinated flank beef is the best!
The scotch fillet wasn’t memorable, the top side beef was too thick to be enjoyed and the pork belly wasn’t satisfying at all. Even when this was all cooked over charcoal. We wanted to really give this place a chance but the options are so incredibly limited.

Seafood kimchi pancake was not bad – crispy and would recommend it as it will improve the mediocre experience.
Their side dish selection was decent but I would’ve hoped for some classic pickled bean sprouts banchan.

Sitting outside was a super fun experience and we got served hot tea instead of the typical classic water!
Getting service was also not as hard as we thought – they were outside quite frequently since they were packed on a friday night.

The service is nice and super friendly but the quality of food is not worth the coin. 🙁

Been here so many times. There’s a bit of a wait if you come at their peak times and you can’t book but it is so worth the wait every time! Best seafood pancake! Service is always good and the food is good! Never been disappointed! I say it’s worth your dollar!!

I had Set C with seafood pancake. The meal was so good.
The staff was very friendly. I will go back and try more food next time.
However, they dont hav much variety food on their menu.

What a nice place to eat, we sat outside under the tent on such a beautiful day. The menu was easy to order from. We had SET A with a seafood pancake on the side.. and we were so full. Lovely service by the young girl, very attentive and quick. Perfect for an early dinner.

I always get set B and an extra serving of pork belly for some variety. Love the quality of the food here. On the very odd occasion, some cuts of meat are slightly different (for the worse). So it can vary in consistency. Still one of my favourite places in Melbourne to get kbbq.

We are always here! Its true, we love this place. A great casual Korean BBQ place thats delicious and much cheaper than other Korean BBQ restaurants in the area. Staff are polite and welcoming. You cant book a table so be sure to quickly add your name to the list as you arrive because it does get busy during peak times 7pm.
Our usual is their Donwoori A package with the kimchi stew option and the kimchi pancake as an additional side. Its more than enough for 2 people. The meat is good quality, the kimchi stew is nice and spicy with a good amount of onion, tofu and pork pieces. We also love how they also keep refilling our kimchi bowl.
