Is everyone thinking about whats for lunch yet? I ordered @nemomelbourne using @Ubereats s_aus. Normally I order from @deliveroo_au but turns out its cheaper to order from Ubereats! Apparently it pays to check both apps before ordering

Anyway I digress. The reason why I gave it a two wasnt because of the money issue, the reason why is because the food wasnt as good as I hoped. I ordered a pork belly kim chi stew and it was more sour than savory/ spicy. I think it really should have a balance of all three flavours. The bean curd in the stew was not the silken tofu type, and I did not find any pork belly in my pork belly kim chi stew. I appreciate that they gave us black rice to go with this dish.

The kim chi pancake was quite nice – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but once again the kim chi flavours are not very balanced. Both dishes are too heavy and there wasnt any lighter sides to counterbalance it.

The sides consists of two deep fried Gyoza and nothing else. Usually when I order Korean there are always other side dishes that comes along with it, even when its delivery so I was a bit disappointed.

Standard Korean bento that’s good for a quick, cheap meal! Nemo seems like a fairly popular option amongst university students living near the area. Sadly I think the flavours fall a little flat in comparison to their sister store, Suda. Final verdict; not a bad place, but not overly memorable.

We decided on Nemo for a family dinner on a Friday night. Its a very small eatery and was quite empty when we arrived. I love the modern interior and the checkered tile bench tables here.

The menu isnt very big, but theres plenty of variety to satisfy anyone. Each meal comes with a side dish of fried dumplings and salad, as well as rice.

We got the crispy chicken Dinner Box which was the cutest thing ever! It comes in 4 separate small containers, perfectly portioned. The chicken was crispy, saucy and on point. The Bibimbap was delicious – its served cold like a salad, but they dont skimp on toppings! And the sauce is quite spicy but very addictive!

Seafood pancake is also a must for us, and this one didnt disappoint! It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not too oily, and paired well with the dipping sauce. The Cheesy Egg Roll was another crowd-pleaser. Its huge, and comes with a ton of toppings and sauce.

Cheesy N Spicy Chicken was very good too. Plenty of cheese and the sauce was yummy. Portion-wise, its a bit smaller than other ones Ive had. Last but not least, the Buade Jjigae – this is a mini version for one, but it sure does pack a lot of flavour! Its quite spicy, and the soup is hearty and thick.

Service was very fast, and the staff were extremely friendly. Prices are very decent too. Will definitely be returning!

For a Korean inspired quick bite, this spot offers a range of cheap eats that’s popular with uni students. I had the Jap-chae today – glass noodles made from sweet potato – with beef, mushrooms, shredded carrot and greens. The scrumptious sweet and savoury dish was fragrant with a decent sprinkling of sesame and so tasty with tender chunks of beef. Yum!

A very casual place, speedy service and friendly staff makes this a worthwhile visit.

Found this hidden place among a bunch of BBQ Korean restaurants in north Melbourne. A comfy place to escape the crowds and the noise in most of the Korean restaurants. Weve ordered quite a lot as the prices looks fair and we wanted to try as more as we can. Egg rolls and Bento Box are must try! Weve spent around $75 for 2 persons to try most of the dishes and definitely knew what to order when we come back.
