Went here today and ordered a vegetable burger and potato cake. It was quite good value and the burger was tasty with fresh ingredients. I was happy to see it contained a veggie pattie rather than just salad, and the bun was toasted which was a nice touch. Visually, the shop is a pretty standard fish and chip shop, but it was quiet and the wait for food was not too long.
This place is no longer operating under the same name. Back to original management of 9yrs ago.

A very standard fish & chip shop. Too oily and too much batter used for my taste. But it would be convenient if passing as its usually quiet so the service is fairly quick.

Just simply put, a run-of-the-mill fish & chup shop, no frills, nothing special or warrants a return visit.
Unless you’re absolutely dying for chups and conveniently live next door.
My go to fish and chip shop. Flake always good, chips usually pretty good. Potato cakes could use some work. Short wait on orders, about ten minutes on average!
Fast and friendly service, we have been here a few times now and it has been consistently delicious! Crisp chips and a nice amount of chicken salt when you ask for it. A simple and tasty dinner option!
