Delicious hot chai from a colourful market stall. It smelt amazing, and was strong and flavourful. My only criticism is the price and the small cup. Not the best value for something premade – if they had steamed the milk or garnished it in some way, it probably would have been a bit of a better deal. Though, that would have affected the authenticity of the tea and its simple flavour.

Old posters in stall are good.
It’s within Melbourne Central, in the alley way coming out from it facing the State Library. I walked pass it 3 times in my visit and couldn’t resist getting it because it is constantly brewing and it smells so so so good.
The staff were very friendly but they did take their time with things so ideally you are not in a rush or you have just enough money but not a massive $50 for a $4 chai…
I asked for no sugar and the flavour is right. This is the second time I have Masala Chai and I’m assuming that it is meant to be weak, so it’s just a little too weak to my liking, but it smells so so so good. It’s weak but you can definitely taste the chai, so I guess I should say it’s appropriately weak.
