Open till 10pm, and kickarse nasi goreng! They will happily add or subtract ingredients in your noodle or rice dishes- legends! You pay for what you get and more- one of their noodle boxes can feed 2 people for ten bucks- and they are lovely. Get the dumpling soup! I have it with no noodles and extra vegies to pretend I’m being healthy!
I rarely dine here nowadays but when I do I immediately remember why I kept coming back. Casual & delish! Favourites are Char Kwai Teow, seafood inari (crab) and Pineapple, bbq pork fried rice ( I ask for light soy instead of light curry sauce). Delicious, so worth your money & time. 🙂
I used to go here a while ago but now work somewhere else. Generally the food (noodles, sushi, satay) is OK. If I’m in the area again, I’d go back. Favourite dish was Singapore style noodles without meat but with egg.
I really like this place. I come here often during lunch time when it’s busy. I like how they offer all these different range of food from sushi to fried rice to noodle soups. Great value in price compared to what you get in the city. Even the drinks are reasonable well-priced.
I have been eating Sushi in Melbourne for years, This is by far the worst Sushi i have ever had. I never comment on anything on the internet but felt obliged to warn people so they don’t make the same mistake. I must admit though their noodles are pretty good.
A really nice Chinese/Japanese Restaurant that’s value for money~!. Have been visiting there for years and all I can say is that I absolutely love it! Whenever I come the workers there are welcoming and attentive. What makes this shop special compared to other sushi restaurants is that the sushi here are quite cheap ($2.50) compared to the prices in the CBD ($2.80 or even $3). It’s also one of the biggest sushis I have ever seen so definitely worth it!!! Bonus for the rich variety of sushi or inari rolls that they offer – with spicy salmon my favourite!
I have been looking at the reviews for this restaurant and noticed a complaint about the extra soy sauce or wasabi they charge and I literally laughed. To be fair nearly ALL sushi restaurants now charge 10 cents for a soy sauce so it’s nothing extraordinary. Look at KFC that charge thirty cents extra for a tomato sauce and where’s the complaints for that? It seems like people are unaware on how expensive those fish soy sauce are nowadays – it takes around 10 cents to make one so this restaurant doesn’t actually earn any profit from charging extra.
Besides now I’ve noticed the fish soya sauce they offer now are actually for free – they usually give you one and it’s free and then you can ask for another one it’s free – any more then of course they have to ask for more. If you’re still not satisfied you can even use the soy sauce bottle they have there which is unlimited for you to use.
Overall one of my good old places to visit and my number one sushi destination!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK but please stop substituting chicken for beef satay!. Generally the food (noodles, sushi, satay) is OK. The last couple of times I have ordered beef satay sticks, they gave me chicken instead! Wish they would let me know when they don’t have any beef left. I had ordered take away, otherwise I would have gone back and asked for beef or my money back!
