These used to be fantastic, firm meaty and a beautiful balance of seasoning. Now they are just cooked balls of mush, the recipe has been clearly changed or tweaked and it has severely compromised the quality. Very dissapointing.

Like anybody that knows SM Dim Sims they all are perfect & basically taste the same at all locations across Melbourne just happy they now in the Queen Vic Markets.
Located in shed F (closer to Peel st end).
Lady staffer was super nice & friendly which she always is.
HONESTLY this is not a exaggeration they are as big as a tennis ball, so dont think you should buy like 3 because you wont be able to eat em in one go unless your super hungry.
The pictures posted on here above ^ look nothing like what I brought 3 weeks ago (Oct.2018).
Freshly cooked & moist.
Take advantage of their free soy sauce it complainants these beauty’s.
$2.50 a pop.
Turn around there’s seating right behind you.
The world is a better place with these dim sims in the world 😉

There is always a line of people waiting to order the famous dim sims, it reminds me of the Seinfeld soup kitchen espisode. However, these guys don’t yell out ‘next’. The dim sims are good, I’m not a dim sim lover so I have nothing to compare them with but I do like these. They are a quick snack once they cool down, cheap and a good size. As its a take away store at the South Melbourne markets there is sitting around so you can listen to busker’s or the hussel & bussel of the markets.
