A good place to laugh but a bad place to eat.
Lets be honest you dont get the best food at a comedy joint and if you dont know that you are in the wrong place. Had a good time, great laughs and they put on a great show. Drinks available at the bar are moderately priced, but again be mindful that this is a comedy club not a cocktail bar and stick to the spirits, wine or beer not the fancy cocktails.
The only disappointment was burnt baking paper in my nachos. I brought it to the attention of wait staff and his reply was Im sorry let me take that away
Otherwise a fun night, will come back for sure but will dine out before I arrive.

We have been here just the once because we wanted to see one of our fave comedians Dave Callan. He’s so random and funny. I didn’t actually know what the setup was in here and as such wasn’t aware that food was an option so we had already eaten down the road. You effectively get assigned a spot on a share table and that’s your lot. Staff do the rounds delivering food and drinks are available from the bar. Show aside this place is a dump. Terrible vinyl coated chairs which aren’t ideal for long term sitting. Drinks are overpriced and cosmopolitan cocktails syrupy. I’m glad we chose to eat somewhere else beforehand as the food here was clearly not for us. I’m really not that snobby about the food I eat but the food seriously looked unappealing. Can’t comment on the taste though.

Comedic acts had long intervals with the MC filling in and the evening was seriously drawn out with regular suggestions that we need to go get another drink. I enjoyed most of the comedy but Kelisi vowed to never return again (I think mostly due to the venue itself rather than the comedy acts) so will have to stick to our annual comedy festival or fringe festival comedy shows.

Loved the hecklers. Good value heckling in this crowd.

The 2.5 score here is pretty much spot on. Came here as I was given free tickets. Didn’t expect food and drink to be so expensive but I suppose they make their money that way. Chips, buffalo wings and nachos came to $40. Food is obviously reheated and my wings were pretty much burnt and very oily. A good night however. Weird that nachos came in a take away tray!

My friends and I were obviously not expecting much when we came here to eat before a show. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu is small and basic, but there is nothing wrong with it! The food was lovely and the servings were generous. As the place was packed, it took a good 40 minutes at least for the food to come out. Drinks were also overpriced. Otherwise, a fantastic comedy show – absolutely no complaints there. Will be coming again!

A fabulous night of laughs with a line up of ridiculously funny comedians with friendly staff and exceptional food and service. Thanks for a great night.

The popular Parma while you sit back in a diner like environment and take in your favourite comedians. The staff are super attentive. You have your typical range of drinks but it’s limited. I think it’s cool place to be, laughs guaranteed.

I’ve read some harsh reviews here for the food at the comics lounge, and I think it’s unwarranted. The history of theatre restaurants is littered with reviews of appalling food so one almost expects it. The food served at the comics lounge is basic pub style food. Done well. Waddya expect, Heston and Marco Pierre hiding in the kitchen? They’re not here. What is here is a really tasty Cajun grilled chicken salad. Nachos and fries and a variety of drinks-all really reasonably priced and not screwed up. Plus, you get to have a laugh, so lighten up
