After a big late lunch, we preferred having a lighter dinner. We had a Char Kway Teow (Malaysian flat rice noodles), a soft-shell crab curry laksa (noodle soup) & a Lohbak (5 pieces of mince pork & prawn wrapped in bean curd skin served with sweer & spicy sauce). Char Kway Teow was nicely cooked. (It’s a simple dish testing the ability of a good dedicated chef.) The soft-shell crab was a bit soggy in the laksa, even though we took it quickly. (It’s not a successful dish.) The Lohbak was great with crispy skin.

Convenient location to the Parkville precinct of hospitals and Melbourne University, and an easy option for a quick and delicious meal. The service is quick and the food does not take too long to come out (especially considering how busy the place often is!). We did not have to wait for a table, but the place fills up quite quickly.
The char kway teow was really delicious – came out piping hot and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend!
Went there for a quick meal. Service was ok, but the food was overrated. I had a hainanese chicken rice, the rice was hard like a stone, chicken was tasteless…. ordered a beetroot ginger juice, which was not a fresh juice.
