The best kbbq in Melbourne. I fell in love with their wagyu selection, their seafood/kimchi pancakes and the japchae there. Service is a standout for me, they always offer to top up your sauces, drinks and cook your meat for you.
One of my friends suggested we check this place for korean bbq. I went there and I realised I have been here sometime ago. Ordered the meats and a noodle. Overall food was not bad. Size was not big at all. Limited side dishes, though fancifully displayed around the bbq plate. One of the better options in this korean bbq stretch.
Service was pretty attentive and they seem eager for you to leave though the time provided for more than that. Damage was close to $100 for two. Probably it would be sometime before I visit this establishment again.
Yeonga has become a favourite!!
The variety may not be as large as other korean restaurants I’ve been to however, the sets they offer is of great value and I’m always leaving the restaurant feeling stuffed with great food.
Every once in a while, I do like to introduce many friends to Yeonga and the staff are wonderful.
The food is great, the bbq is such a great aspect of the restaurant but I really do enjoy the dishes they offer like the seafood rice cakes, raw beef and japchae.
It is a restaurant i’d recommend new foodies to try out at least once!!
What an amazing place! Yeonga is a head above the rest of the Korean BBQ joints in Melbourne.
Their set up (although slightly dark) is inviting and if you’re lucky enough to score a booth, provides some level of privacy.
The service was the highlight – our side dishes were topped up without us having to ask. The waitress cooking for us was super efficient and there wasn’t a sense of being rushed – unlike at some other places.
The meats were wonderfully seasoned and we loved the tasty bulgogi stew which came with the BBQ package for 4.
Sterling service, sterling food and sterling score……5 out of 5!
A great kbbq place which was separated by walls for a more private vibe. We got the set for 4 people. The meat was tender and juicy and the scallops were also nice. We ordered the kimchi pancake and I have to say it would be the best kimchi pancake I’ve had. Staff were friendly and attentive and also helpful with cooking the meat.
I really like how each table is sectioned off by walls. It gives a very personal and private dining experience. We ordered the Wagyu Scotch Fillet, the set menu A Yeonga Odyssey, Seafood Pancake and the Watermelon Soju. Food was delicious and filling. Staff were friendly and our bbq service was excellent.
