Worst kebab in Melbourne. Gristley and tiny portions! After taking time explaining to them in English that I wanted a kebab without the bread in a container, shit all salad and fatty meat. The hummus was not hummus and when I asked for more salad they wanted to charge extra…even though I wasn’t having the giant Turkish roll with it. Tight arses. Shame as it’s next door. Not going back.
Gentrified kebabs, you can taste every element. OK, for the blokes in northcote who decide can’t be arsed cooking or bored with home delivery so saddle up the dog and go for a half pisser wander, this place isn’t for a you these days. 2 yrs ago you could get 2 meals under a skinful and have enough to munch on when you woke up.
However now, amazing, meat, tabouli, salad, sauce and the customer service make this a place where you could take a date for a late night meal and she would be happy.
Definitely for the better, give it a shot, every bite is an explosion of flavours not gristle, fat or garlic.
Consistently good kebabs with very tasty meat!. I work nearby and in the past couple of weeks I’ve ordered a kebab for lunch, and really enjoyed it!
The meat is seriously delicious, the bread works really well and as everyone else has said the service is very good, professional and the shop is very clean and inviting.
Last week I thought I would give Lambs a go, as I remembered their kebabs being delicious…
I got the sloppiest wettest kebabs I’ve ever had, which tasted like pure vinegar (I think they didn’t shake the chili sauce bottle and it must have been vinegar based), they also forgot what meat I wanted so they stuffed that up to. I ate it above the sink and the amount of liquid that came out of it definitely made me wonder why I kept eating it. If I wasn’t as starving as I was I would have returned it.
I’m happy to say the the middle eastern kitchen & kebabs is definitely more consistent than lambs, and that I’ll be grabbing lunch their often now.
Delicious and Great Service. The kebabs are made with fresh ingredients and with care. The service is very good. I’m so glad there is finally a good kebab place on High Street!

Felafel!. The felafel here is freshly made when you order, the kebabs come with pickles and generous amounts of tasty hummus, we come here once or twice a week; the service has always been friendly and the food delicious.
A must try!. After trying a lot of the kebab shops in this area I was so happy when I stumbled across this one! The service was great, the shop was clean and inviting and the food was delicious!! And they use real Lamb not mince like the surrounding kebab shops are using. I could definitely taste the difference!! New favourite kebab shop!
