Worst food in town with no variety to choose from. For a cafe not to have a tasteful enjoyable experince with limited mea selectionl then why have such a short bland pmenu. If its going to have a few things only availble then make sure those dishes are A class.
Coffee Ink is certainly passable, but if you’re looking for Coffee Mozart you need to look elsewhere I’m sorry to report. Having said that the service is quite friendly and very attentive 🙂
BEST COFFEE IN TOWN!. So after 10 years of living in Northcote, I have finally found the BEST COFFEE SHOP IN TOWN! Coffee Ink has a great feel when you walk in, warm welcoming smiles from all the staff and (finally!) a barrista who knows how to make A GREAT COFFEE! Highly recommend to all – if you have not been to Coffee Ink you are missing out!

Omigod the big breakfast!. I live above but aside from coffee I’ve never eaten here, gosh how I’ve missed out!
The breakfast is amazing, perfectly poached eggs on thick sourdough with quality butter, more bacon than my dog and I could eat, chorizo, mushrooms, spinach, grilled tomato and a decent wedge of saganaki. I don’t normally eat this much in a whole day and 120kg mate from Sydney couldnt finish either! Had a nap afterwards as was needed.
Top quality food, think I’ve just worked out my Sunday morning schedule from hereon in, thanks David.

December 2016, yep we still love Dave, and no we have his adorable brother to rev!
Nothing this place can’t do, just ask them?, there are 20 of us and we’ve organised delivered buffet lunches, and this year as we did with last yr, Dave and his crew are catering a traditional Xmas lunch for us at our office, and the staff can’t wait, roast turkey, roast pork, roast veges, something for the vego etc etc. Only 3 more sleeps to go lol.

Great coffee shop and food. My other half and I love this spot. David is a very welcome host as are the girls that work there too. I love the coffee and it’s always good for a bite to eat. Great menu and great value. We head there almost every weekend. 🙂
