Went last night for Wednesday night $12 steak night.. how can you complain for $12 steak but will highlight few little things for if paying full price..
My rump steak was great! Cooked perfectly to medium rare, chips are chunky steakhouse which are yummy, sauce was were I saw sadness … peppercorn with not one peppercorn! Mushroom with lucky to have one slice… in their defence $12 for steak chips salad and sauce.. so I’m not whinging just informing!
Kids meals are the real winner, wow they look fabulous. Overall I would go back for their $12 steak or Parma nights but full price maybe not..

Good food, great service!! Wide selection of beers, excellent play area for the kids. Went to the Croxton for the first time last weekend. Will be recommending to my family and friends

Contrary to the other reviews we found this place to be a fine family venue. We went here (with low expectations) for a birthday and the place is perfect for families and large groups. Free entertainment for kids on fri & sat nights, clean play room, nice open space with plenty of room around tables, easy service, good food, relaxed vibe.
Yes it’s not a gastropub, but it serves up all the standards and a few extras in fine form. We’ll be back for an easy family night out for sure.

I went in with low expectations and they weren’t met. Sorry folks, but the food is terrible. Give this one a miss, the play ground for the kids isn’t worth it.

Don’t eat here, the food is just not worth it. The atmosphere is like walking into a morgue. We ordered fish n chips…. the fish was processed and had a terrible smell, chips not much better. Not worth the money. This is genuinely a pokies pub… with diners who seem miserable. Staff don’t understand the meaning of hospitality.

Cost more than it’s worth!!. Food really expensive, Food not so great. Asked for medium rare steak came out over cooked.
Service is good, staff are nice. Great for kids that’s about it.
