Really Bad to Deal With – Steer Clear. What can I say – not much really. Owner was amazing rude. Truck turned up almost an hour late and then expected to be let in, which required us to move rides and people to accommodate them.
No apologies for being late, gave a lame excuse about getting lost and threatened to sue.
Food was not that great. We would never use them again.
Owner needs to take some lessons in relationship management. Clearly use to bulling people around to get his own way.
Tried it at Yarraville Gardens on weekend. Really average gumbo, make it better at home myself. And $12 is pretty over priced. Chicken wings are boring and dont have a great batter. But really if you are called Gumbo Kitchen you should know how to do a good gumbo.

We came here with kids and food, ambiance and service were all great, really good fried chicken, and the duck gumbo, but the winner was the shrimp po-boy 🙂
I had the po boy deep fried shrimp and it was pretty good.
