Comfortable slightly shabby down at heel feel to the place. Service not great at the bar at 5pm, a bit slow but certainly pleasant and cheery. The menu looked a little basic, pub like and prices hefty. For a moment I got the Doncaster Inn shudder. Wine list ok but prices also a little on the heavy side. But, the place met my needs. A private spot for a meeting with a wine in hand. I could be convinced to return to eat here.
