Went here on Saturday for a quick dinner before a gig because Bar Nonno (awesome pizza) is closed for renos. Nice fit out and wait staff but the pizza was below-par. Disappointed to see an absence of a woodfire oven in the open kitchen and the sauce used on the pizzas tasted like straight up tomato paste.

Lovely modern Italian restaurant. Each time Ive been the staff have been really attentive and friendly. The fit out is cool and I love the booths.

Pizzas are tasty and I particularly like their pairings, for example the Otto is amazing with the Congo potato and rosemary

The salad we tried this time was the fig and rocket salad which had stracciatella. The stracciatella was so melt in your mouth, yum.

We finished off with the sticky date pudding which I wish I didnt share it was that good! Last time we came they had a sundae on the menu and that was amazing too.

Primo restaurant is a somewhat typical new age pizza shop turning your classic meat laden pizza and modernizing it with a new range of ingredients. Overall it can be said that the pizza (the only thing we had that night) was quite pleasant.

The Otto pizza was well presented and and the flavors balanced well. The dough was a little dry and could do with a fraction less oven time considering all the ingredients are quite sensitive to cooking time. The Westgarth was a delightful pizza but the ingredients once again became sadly a little dry in the oven and could do with a fraction more olive oil to help them retain their flavour.

The beer list is not extensive and lacks a lot of variety similar to that of the wine menu. Given the upmarket promotion the lack of range acts to counter this.
