Came in for a coffee, stayed for the toasties and cakes. Coffee was awesome. All around a place I want to be on a Saturday morning. Menus look nice too!
The food and coffee are great and the staff are wonderfully friendly. The space could do with some work–it’s not somewhere I’d walk past and be drawn into, but I’m glad I stopped in. Hopefully–being a new cafe–after a bit of time they have some renovations up their sleeve, but I’ll keep dropping by anyway for the chats and coffee!
Id like more small savoury options… Jaffles are great though.

This place has changed names, but still serves some of the best coffee in Northcote. And the service is friendly and professional. The food is really good too, and not overly expensive. Thank you Sherwood North!
What a swank little Cafe Sherwood is. If it’s superb coffee and delightful service you’re looking for then Sherwood is your man. Highly recommended
Friendly and fun. I love this cafe which has become my new local. It has all the best bits of a High st cafe, great food and coffee, but the staff really stand out for their friendly approach. They are always up for a chat, are kid and pet friendly and have created a spacious airy and inviting cafe. I cannot go past their choc brownies, the best I’ve tasted.
