Last night we called into The Merri Creek Tavern for a drink before dinner. Was a cool night but warm and toastie inside. We arrived while the band was still setting up in the back room so instead were spoiled listening to some classic vinyl. A really chilled out atmosphere and I admired the lighting (though somewhat dark and moody). I had a pint of the brickfielders larger and a G&T. Drinks were clearly not on happy hour prices and cost surprised me for the location. I could give or take the brickfielders (crisp but still quite heavy) but KD certainly guzzled her gin quick time.
