Below par pub food. My prosciutto wrapped chicken breast was passable but the accompaniment of cauliflower pure like warm milk and roasted carrots crunchy and cold. Other dishes at our table fared the same. Cosy pub with good bar staff, but dreadful food masquerading as gastro pub fare.
Beautiful ambiance. Best Roo fillet I’ve ever eaten. Apparently it was marinated for hours overnight, but cooked to perfection. $15 bargain with a lovely wine inc. Vego spaghetti was ok, although not a stand out. The best part about the Wesley is the gorgeous venue, dim lights & the fires & heaters everywhere. Staff a friendly too.
