This has to be my current Favourite Japanese place in Melbourne right now!. Ive probably been four times in the last 6 months. I usually never order mains I like to order at least 6-7 of their smaller dishes and share them. The service is great and their food never disappoints. I honestly craveeee their beef tataki! It is a sensational mixture of the beef and pickled onions. YUM will always be back.

Sure, I could tell you about how the Wagyu is actually Wagyu, or the fact that they have a Szechuan-inspired dish on the menu that pays tribute to the great Chen Kenichis dad, but sometimes…that is all. Cant recommend this place more highly. If youre done with pizza, burgers and goddam BBQ, get yourself into Yokoso Izakaya.
