If you live rural, this place isn’t bad and saves you a drive into Shepparton for some chew and spew. Have a had a few instances of asking for no prawns in any dishes (due to allergies) only to get home and there is prawns. So two of us can’t eat dinner. Mongolian Lamb is the bomb. Sometimes deep fried dishes come out a little over cooked. Tonight we had 2 x fried rice, Mongolian lamb, combination garlic and a Singapore noodles = $65.00

Food is not fantastic. After several months I always find myself going back to this restaurant for one last try, but I always remember why I haven’t bothered for so long with each bite of food I take. Most dishes are just overloaded with onions and not much else. There is nothing special about the special fried rice, most battered food is burnt to a crisp and quite often there is the odd side dish missing. Last time it was the prawn crackers, this time it was the rice. I have also heard that there have been dishes served that were still frozen in the middle. So much msg is used that I haven’t often felt really sick, so once I asked for one of the dishes without msg and it was absolutely terrible. I know msg is supposed to be a flavour enhancer, but I feel in this instance it is used to disguise the fact that the food is completely un-edible in the first place. Prawn crackers are often stale too. I suppose this is what happens when your the only Asian restaurant in the town.
We ordered from here a couple of nights ago. Was very yummy. We had take away. Wasnt at all greasy.
Unforgettable. How many ways can you say ‘bad chinese food’? This was from 3-4 years ago now. It was that unforgettable. Extra greasy, meat pieces that were chopped up to little pieces (sign of bad quality?) Even the classic sweet & sour pork was done badly. Hopefully it has improved.
