I was over at a friend’s and as one of them wanted to grab a souvlaki from Euro Bites, which he raves about, I decided that I wanted to try one too and off went the boys to get some dinner.
My friend’s default order is the chicken souvlaki wrap, which he proclaims as tender, juicy and absolutely tasty. What he loved most was the thick chunks of succulent chicken pieces generously scattered within a slice of soft and fluffy pita bread.
The friendly lady recommended that we tried the pork souvlaki, and this was another beauty. The pork was meaty and moist, albeit a stray chunk or two being slightly tougher than the rest.
The wrap was smothered in delicious sauce, and also stuffed to the brim with lettuce, tomatoes and the likes.
Couldn’t fault the chips sprinkled with oregano, and while some justifiably got a bit cold on the car ride home, most were still warm and crisped around the edges.
A delicious and affordable meal, that was incredibly filling to boot.
