It was a friends recommendation that brought us here and we left with happy tummy. This is not a usual Greek place with just slouvaki. We ordered lamb cutlets and pork belly. They come in big portion!! Next time we may order a few entrees and share a main dish. Best Greek we had so far!
Living very close to Oakleigh…(Little Athens) we were always drawn to Mezedakia, now unfortunately closed down so heard of Mykonos up the street. Very glad we did. Food was awesome….Saganaki, Lamb shanks, Squid, Chicken hot pot. The thing I loved is when you walk in…the open kitchen is in the front of the restaurant and the main dining is out the back. The atmosphere is typically Greek…and if you want a quiet meal find somewhere else. It is the Greek culture…Family/ Friends celebrating life and great food. Service was excellent…keep in mind it is a small area with lots of tables. Wait service do an amazing job weaving in and out. You have to book in, which I did with a simple text to Paul and texted back with booking straight away. For the folks that bagged it….If you have been to Mykonos …you will feel at home…if your’e a walk in or takeaway…get in line and wait for ones who experience the experience….Cheers Mykonos , we will be coming back for more & more
