Came here for lunch today. I had some garlic pizza which was delicious. Absolutely fresh, tasty and full of garlic yesss hahaha
I then ordered a Mexicana pizza which was fantastic, it was soooo fresh and tasty! My dish was definitely a winner yay haha
This place was good. Some people that I dined with didnt enjoy their dishes as much as me, as their salads were apparently too oily. Eek!
But the pizzas
Came from the other side of town to have a decent authentic Greek meal.
All the other Greek eateries were busy. Now I know why!
I gave one rating for this because the waiters were great. Helpful and attentive.
BUT… what put me off was the fact that cooks were Indian.
What are Indians doing working in a Greek restaurant?
Anyone who goes to a Greek restaurant wants authentic Greek cooks. Same as if one goes to an Asian restaurant but the cooks are all Indians!
Having the fireplace going on a mild Spring day (during the day) is not on either. It got hot in there.
I had a meat dish and the meat seemed like it was old, perhaps reused (?) or from a packaged box. Meat didn’t appear fresh at all. I didn’t finish my meal.
I left soon after. This place let me down.
Helpful suggestions: Hire Greek cooks please! Don’t have the fireplace on when mild Spring daytime leading to Summer. Serve your customers fresh meat (make sure non-halal cert) as your customers have lots of experience what fresh meat tastes like.
We came here on Father’s Day as a group of 13 for breakfast and it was the worst experience. I had the pancakes and they tasted like dry bread. All dishes looked below par and were average. Never come here for breakfast.
What a wonderful gem this No Name is! We went to dinner and ordered almost
everything from the Small Plates menu. The plates were certainly not small,
some servings were definitely Main size.
The table was laden and ALL of the dishes that we ordered were presented
perfectly and were each absolutely delicious! The service was prompt, polite,
helpful and flawless. We look forward to going back and soon!
Good family place, but that’s all i have to say nothing else. Really wasn’t a good experience for me i ordered a drink and the water asked for my ID and i was with my family, made me feel not welcomed and not comfortable with the place, the staff were rude and confronting speaking in a loud manner with me.
Had dinner here on a busy Saturday night recently. Whilst the atmosphere was fine, our food was well below par. Our mains arrived whilst we were still eating our starters and despite our looks of confusion, plates were shuffled and mains squeezed onto the table. My open lamb souvlaki was tough and overlooked; lamb chops were an equally poor choice. The winner was the calamari. Loved our baklava ice cream. But service was scatty and over all a poor choice. Will vote with my feet. 🙁
Food and service are both of a very poor standard.
We decided to get a mix platter with meat and seafood and the portioning was nothing short of poor. For a price tag of $99 you could be forgiven for expecting something a little more than a couple of cutlets and skewers which looked like the came straight from the freezer to the plate.
Given the wide array of choices on Oakleigh’s Eaton Mall, No Name is a bit of No Go.
