Wow the donuts here are mind blowing. Hot Greek donuts with amazing toppings Perfect for a winter night. For all those Indians reading this, its like sweet Manglore bajji with creamy chocolate Nutella topping. So delicious I wish I could order one of each kind but I was only allowed to pick 2 toppings.. None the less its still one the best donuts that Ive eaten in Melbourne.
Little balls of heaven is what I’d call them! They’re so fluffy and delicious. Especially when served hot. Sadly I only tried one of their flavors. I had the salted caramel popcorn and it was seriously so heavenly. I regret not trying some more of it. The texture of the donut and the melted caramel sauce with sprinkles of popcorn were perfect.
Would come back all the way to Oakleigh just for these donuts.

Ordered the honey walnut and cinnamon loukoumades. Quite expensive but all made fresh to order. Surprisingly with the overload of honey it wasn’t too sweet as it didnt absorb into it. Texture is crispy with a fluffy inner. Felt a slight waste for the walnut and honey left over after eating.
ordered the salted caramel and popcorn donut tray and omg, they are soo good!! The salted caramel was sweet with a tinge of saltiness and the popcorn matched really well with the little round donuts. So delicious. The donuts were light and fluffy, yet crunchy when you bite into it and it soaks up all the salted caramel sauce mm.
I love myself a good Greek donut. Theres many donuts to choose from and some of them had custard stuffings in it. It wasnt busy when I came so I was allowed to customise it. I ordered the custard filled donut (bougatsa) with Nutella and nuts. I also ordered the fudge puppy with Nutella and strawberry. The donuts were freshly made and had a nice crunch to it. Im not sure about the custard. Couldnt really notice it. The fudge was very soft and tasted like pancakes. I wasnt a big fan of it however I liked the freshness of the strawberries.
The customer service was extremely good. The staffs were very patient and helpful!
Overall, will I return? I dont think so.
I first got to try the loukoumades from St. Gerry’s at a food truck festival a few years back. I remember it was excellent so did not hesitate to pop in here after dinner to grab a few to satisfy the sweet tooth. Must say the original honey, walnut and cinnamon combo is hard to beat. The original and the best in my opinion. Were the donuts slightly bigger at the food truck…?
