Lovely little family owned restaurant! A bit skeptical with the reviews however all changed once the food came!!

Must try items: Da Pan Ji (big plate chicken), Lamb Kebab, Spring onions pancake, Dumplings (lamb and onions) portion is big so be careful when ordering! (Cash only so bring cash )
**If you can’t handle the heat let them know when placing your order.

Definitely coming back with more peoples!

I have had my fair share of authentic uyghur food and I am sorry to say this is possibly the worst I have ever had. I get it that it is a family run business and service is slow and probably all falls onto one or two people.

The food is atrocious the lamb pillaf is tasteless and not enough lamb. The hand made noodles is uneven and didn’t seem to preped properly. The sauce that goes with it is too runny and lacking in flavour, texture or any semblance of meat or proper vegies.

I used to go there and get decent food and I am willing to put up with the slow service. But food of this poor quality should not be served and is a poor excuse for a restaurant.

I will be looking for proper Uyghur food elsewhere now and there are plenty!

Upon stepping in, you will feel like this is a very home style and family-run type of restaurant. Very simple decor and nothing fancy, no music either. Service was quite slow as there was only one waitress who often went into the kitchen to help out. Food was pretty authentic and prices are reasonable enough. Had to wait quite a while at the end for our takeaway because they seemed to prioritize their other table orders since we had already finished our food, which was a bit annoying. Not many drinks options available either, the only alcohol they have is Tsingdao beer. Also it’s cash only so remember to withdraw some dosh before going.

The food is excellent! My favourite uyghur restaurant in Melbourne. I’ve been here three times and every time they can surprise me with beautiful food. I especially recommend the chicken stew and noodle salad. The yoghurt here is also very tasty and unique.

if i could give a minus review, i will.
the service was very RUDE, and we found 3 LONG HAIR in 3 DIFFERENT DISHES..
and they still want us to PAY FULL for their disgusting food.
worse dining experience ive had so far.

New to Uyghur Cuisine and loved it! Will be back.. We ordered takeaway which was on time when I arrived to pick it up within 1/2 an hour.
The restaurant is traditional however clean.
The food was moorish, simple but tasty. I recommend the chicken stew which is accompanied by flat hand made noodles, similar to Hor Fun but more rustic and yum. The chilli heat was perfect for me but I wouldn’t call it mild. So for non chilli eaters, I would ask for no chilli or very very mild! We mopped up the sauce with the onion pancake which was nice just a little tad dry. The lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned. All in all 8/10.
    We will definitely be back.
