FANTASTIC!
I live right next door and to my detriment I’ve been walking on by for so long. Came in tonight and boy, have I been missing out!
FRESH! FRESH! FRESH!
Flavours are fan bloody tastic.
I can’t recommend this place enough. If you like burgers, you’re in for a treat!
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Grab a cider with added ginger. On point!
I love this place, the food is amazing. They have a special build your own burger option. Its definitely best to try that option. If not my favourite is number 6 from the menu, leave you satisfied every time
Would love to give these guys a try however they take up customer parking with their delivery bikes so there is never any parking. Maybe you need to think about how to better serve the community.
I’ve been looking for a good burger for a while. The search is over! The place looked modern, clean and popular and had an interesting menu. The price was very reasonable and food quality and service were excellent. Used Liven App and got $50 rebate when we dined in. Not to miss when in Melbourne.
Ordered. Beef burger with beetroot, aioli & relish &
Chicken with garlic butter. Both burgers came with obligatory salad, onion & pickles. Appreciated the owner making ordering so easy.
Music was best hits of the 70s. Fabulous.
Disappointed could not use Entertainment Book discount voucher as it was for the other two outlets. Fair enough as this is probably a franchise.
Best lemon lime & bitters I’ve had in a long time. Singha went down well.
Burgers whilst looking great did not excite the palate. With all those ingredients I expected more real taste.
A thing I’ve found at other burger joints is the annoying manner of giving you chicken pieces instead of one whole breast or thigh. Pieces fall out of the burger. Maybe this is a cost cutting measure, not sure. But it is something I am not happy about.
Buns were brioche-like & as such, got a bit moist as you got through the burger. A small side of fries (thick) were very good. Whilst not seemingly hand cut, they were great.
I was disappointed because I wanted to really like these burgers but I’m still in love with Grill’d. Would I try again? At $40 for what we had, probably not.
I really love the idea of this place as a business and the food in general. The menu caters to a real gap in the market because you can build your own burger to suit your dietary requirements; paleo, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc. The list of ingredients ranges from really basic burger with tasty cheese, salad and sauces, to a gourmet treat with camembert cheese, roasted eggplant and beetroot relish (and every combination in between)! I ordered the veggie pattie burger with salad, cheese, eggplant, guacamole and garlic butter and it was delish. I am glad you guys are making (I assume from the quality) or investing in quality veggie patties! My friend and I also got wedges which were cooked all crispy! There were lots of options on the menu for sides and fillings and it seemed to be licensed for alcohol. I would love to see this place opening up to a venue in the Ormond area with a terrace or beer garden for that extra laid back feel! The service was very impressive. Really friendly staff and reasonable wait time. I believe they do uber eats too, which is handy!
Cassidy we picked up some Babu as takeaway, being a Standard burger, a No. 2 burger and some thin fries. Mine was the No. 2 burger and I thought it was quite nice. It comes semi-deconstructed, which I liked because I could remove the couple of things I didnt actually want in there. Once put together its a decent sized burger. The chips were very close tasting to Maccas ones.
Service was lovely, a nice guy, and he actually gave us a free dessert as well white chocolate rocky road, which was also good but Im not sure I would order it for myself. The shop is fresh and clean.
Sneakers My Babu burger was pretty tasty it somewhat reminds me of TGI Fridays burgers. It was well cooked and I really appreciate them serving it open-faced to maintain the integrity of the lettuce. As Cassidy mentioned, the chips were very similar to McDonalds. It was a nice surprise to get a free dessert and lots of condiments with our order.
