A quirky little bar/eatery, On Top Bar offers live music and a decent pub style menu.Really enjoyed a casual sunday night dinner and drinks on the rooftop.Iordered the wasabi chicken salad- a generous serve of spicy marinated chicken fillets on a bed of rocket, roasted capsicum and avocado salsa. A simple but very tasty dish. The live music also made for a fun night.

Got it all. I have been going to and playing at On Top Bar for the past 4 years and also ran the Open Mic Wednesdays for a year.
The dedication and will of both SJ and Peter is so rare to find these days when it comes to live music venues.
Their support and encouragement of the music scene in Melbourne has seen so many first timers at the Open Mic, turn into regular weekly performers and everyone is always welcome and everyone is always supportive.
I went to an open mic there for the first time in almost a year the other day, and that welcoming On Top feeling all came back to me like it had never left.
Funnily enough, I’m playing there regularly again 🙂
