If you planning to try out this new place in McKinnon, my advice is to keep driving another 1km down the road and go to MKR instead. They dont have half the dishes on their menu (apparently the chef left with no return date) including the roti jala that enticed me to give them a second try even though my first ubereats experience with them was poor too. We felt we were in a North Indian restaurant (atmosphere) and most of the flavours confused with thyme, basil, chives and loads of pepper. Stick with the rotis if you must go. #notmalakanfood
Small new restaurant. I decided to try it. Results: 1) Deserted at 19:00 on the weekend. 2) Ambience: below average. 3) Food: below average with consequences (I had stomach pains and instant diarrhoea as soon as I arrived home). 4) Waiting time after ordering: 1 hour + 30 minutes for the next course to arrive.NEVER AGAIN! BTW, the price fortwo in this joint is about $65, NOT $120!) If you like Malaysian food, I can warmlyrecommend Wah Kee or Malaysian Gardens, both in Clayton. They are serving good food for the same price.
