This is a restaurant at a winery. We got served wine with cork bits in it. They couldn’t even find a filter to remove the bits.The decanter they used was quite antique looking. I’ve never seen one with a lid, so was impressed at the beginning. But then, on closer inspection, the lid was actually dusty!! We were returning home from a wonderful ski trip and didn’t want to end up w a complaint on our trip. But till this day, I can’t get over how horrible their service was. I regret not complaining. So here it is. Absolutely unacceptable for a winery restaurant.
We’ve dined at Sam Miranda a few times now & each Occassion has been amazing! We order a few dishes from the tapas menu & always order too much- the serving sizes are very generous! The food is delicious, the wine lovely & its such a peaceful relaxing place to be.
