Tried the new vegan avocado muffin today from here and can’t fault it.The lady who served me was lovely and attentive, however the wait time to prepare 1 vegan muffin and a hash brown was pretty average. The muffin itself tastes great with plenty of zesty sauce and filling 🙂
Old mate jack strives for perfection and yet again he delivers another stunner. I bought a mcflurry and chips and can’t say a single bad word of em. If I ever met jack I would shake his hand, he deserves your business. The end.
All Hungry Jack’s have failed.. Hungry Jack’sV.I.P I dont think so.Tonight I had an extremely disappointing experience using my new Hungry Jacks VIP card. I was very excited and proud to be able to show my VIP card that I had won in the Australia wide competition last year that only advertised a limited 500 winners. I proudly presented my card at my local HJ store in Mentone VIC, and was firstly greeted by the sales assistant not understanding what it meant who then passed it over to the manager on duty, Dennis, who simply shook his head to say ‘No!’. He then came over and said that not all Franchise stores were participating and he wouldn’t be honoring the card. He suggested that we try two other stores further away to see if they might participate. Quite literally I was stunned and embarrassed that I had been refused with what clearly seemed to be stated in the accompanying HJ official letter that this VIP card could be used in any store in Australia! Even showing this official letter did not persuade the manager to change his mind and participate in the offer. Clearly this was a Marketing strategy that failed to work in the real world and was clearly misrepresenting the actual deal to the consumer. Stunned I left with my friend and headed to the next closest store in Heatherton Vic to try again. Again the sales assistant there was confused by the card – not a great start – and handed to the manager on duty. This time however, he did read all of the VIP card and pointed out the small print on the bottom that said that it was valid ONLY at participating venues. This meant that any Franchise owner had the right to say ‘No!’ that they didn’t want to honor the deal being presented. He did accept with hesitance the 50% off offer, and explained that most of the stores local to that area were Franchise stores and would most likely not accept this card. So in what started out as an exciting night out the HJ store ended up being a failed Promotion that really felt like I had been cheated. So from starting the year saying to all my friends what a great deal I had won inat the HJ competition, I was now telling everyone how badly I had been treated and the VIP card wasn’t worth the plastic it was printed on! I think the Marketing Department should take a long hard look at this experience.
I’d be interested to know if anyone has ever got what they actually ordered from this HJs. You have to walk in just so you can check your order. The restaurant is always a pigsty, the staff would rather do anything than serve customers, and every order is wrong, with something always missing.
