Best croissants!!
Love this cafe! Best staff! Best coffee! And I especially love their weekly specials. Always something exciting and different. Also fab for kids with a special kids corner!!
20 March – new review. Have to say this place is shocking today. Milkshake has an awful aftertaste, coffee is poor compared to previous visits.
Meals were so slow to arrive, i ordered first and i ordered a basic egg bacon roll. I was the last to be served. 9 other people with complex meals served before me.
On this today i will not return again and i will take my group to another cafe each week.
PS the egg bacon roll was deplorable. Also they used yogurt to replace fetta cheese in her meal. I have heard this from a few ppl now
Great service and food, love the fresh items on the menu be great to see some more treats or cakes so I can stop in more often!! 🙂 best place locally for food!
Love this Cafe! The coffee is always beautiful and we’ll prepared – never burnt. You can tell the barista really cares about producing a good drop! Great menu with a lot of interesting choices, as well as a weekly run of specials. Definitely try the freshly baked muffins! Yum!
Update 2:
This cafe now runs secondary to a catering business and I feel the cafe just gets in the way so they couldn’t care less. What was once a fantastic weekend munchable destination for brunch is no longer open weekends – in fact I can’t remember the last time I saw the doors open. Once a fav it is so disappointing they have given up on locals with a menu that is not even a shadow of its former self.
Update:
I am so sorry to see that due to a lack of support and vision from the local council and from the God Botherers who use the centre on a Sunday and couldn’t read the no parking signs meaning those who wanted to eat here couldn’t park close by- on track has closed. I hope someone has the vision to reopen and re-instate the workers as they were the reason we returned (when we could find a park) Not open for dinner or on a Sunday – this little gem opened up recently and it’s a cafe with a conscience. Whilst small and part of a training facility – it has ticked all my boxes. Breakfast – perfect poached eggs, the coffee is excellent and with it comes a story of trade sharing and seems a lot of the produce is sourced from local community gardens. There is a changing specials board as well as a reasonable menu with both hot and cold items. The free wifi is great too and only seconds away from the train station. This is a great little hidden gem that will busy up once the word gets out. Staff very friendly but wish they were open Sunday’s.
