A decent pub that is a favourite for the locals. Boasts a wide menu that delivers delicious food and can cater to anyone’s needs. Came here with quite a large party of people and our food arrived in a timely manner, and the staff were very friendly. Only downside was probably the portion size, I had the fish and chips and my stomach was left quite unsatisfied.
Reasonably decent place to have a good feed. We have been there a few times and the service can been a bit slow sometimes. The food itself is reasonable but a touch expensive for a pub meal.
Pretty average. Slow table clearing service. Meals got placed on our crowded table of empty glasses & had to ask for them to be cleared. Food was nicely presented but the lamb souvlaki came out with a few slices of roasted lamb of the day
Disappointed. For $23 it’s a bit poor when you’re expecting tender lamb pieces like a real souv.
Parmas looked alright! Won’t be a first choice to dine next.
Overall it’s ok, but just ok.
As far as pubs go – here is another one. Nothing special. Went here for dinner one night and even though it was not busy it took some time for the meal to come out. The criticism I have was that as we were trying to enjoy our meal – all we could smell was cigarette smoke which was somehow coming from outside which was very off putting. I had the Fishermans basket and the calamari tasted like it was fresh from the freezer along with the prepared months earlier crumbed prawn. My partner had the pasta special that was far from special.
We keep returning. We visit the Pakenham Hotel because its a good half way point with our friends. We keep coming back because we have never had a bad experience. We all enjoy the fisherman’s platter with a few drinks.

Super slow restaurant. We rang the restaurant to preorder food and arriving 12:15pm on time. We were sitting there for 45 minutes and still no food insight. Have talked to waitress and still waiting.
