The kids always love the food from here. We have tried most of the dishes on the menu and have not been disappointed. Very fast service and the food is fresh. You can ask for it extra spicy if that’s your liking.
What can I say about this place that sums it up in one word. Average!
Starbox is unusual located far way in Pakenham which more than puts you off because of the distance. The shop itself is small, so be prepared to eat at home or try to squeeze yourself somewhere.
It’s a cheap place which is probably the only plus. However I have given this place a low score mainly because the food is weak, nothing special. I can guarantee you I can cook noodles way better than what they offer, with more flavoursome qualities.
The noodles are pretty bland to begin with and it’s too oily for my taste. I can also taste that they heavily salt their meals too which is a negative. I ordered spicy for my noodles and all I got was a mild kick.
The boxes themselves are of cheap quality and are not appealing to hold noodles.
Look, bottomline is that this place is average at best, nothing special about it. Keep your money and I suggest getting food elsewhere, because seriously, I could do a better job.
Went to starbox after friends mentioned how cheap and delicious the noodles are. Service was very fast, love their sambal chilli noodles, and came in surprisingly big serving in those cute chinese noodle boxes! Staff were very attentive and courteous. Will definitely be back again!
Yummy Noodles!. OMG THE NOODLES HERE ARE AMAZING! AND DELICIOUS! I’m definitely coming back here. They had a ton of noodle options and you can totally customize your own noodles. I got their Mongolian with beef and my friends got the Singapore and Teriyaki chicken noodles. We LOVED it! Their beef was so tender and whatever sauce they use on their noodles was mouth watering and savory. The store is ran by a very nice family and their service is super friendly and quick. It’s a great place to go for Chinese take-out!

The Nasi Goreng is to die for and the Lemon Chicken is the best by far around the area.
