The cafe has new owners and the service is very prompt. We went there for breakfast and although there weren’t too many options they were reasonably good value for money.
I had the bacon and eggs with extra mushrooms. I was slight disappointed that the poached eggs were made in a cooker and both were just a little bit over cooked.
Other than that, it was a decent experience and the cafe seems to have turned a corner with the new owners.

Service is fine, cakes are ok, hot chocolate is poor but coffee is also ok.
Staff have been caught smoking in the toilets rather than walking the very short distance outside. The stench of cig smoke is enough to put most of being served here, but what ever the reason its not a hit. I’m a local and i go elsewhere as Kalm Cafe gives me no reason to have my coffee there
