Love this little local. Beautiful views over the water, lovely coffee and the food is always good. The fireplace ensures the cafe is nice and cozy even on the coldest day in winter.
Parkers Beach Cafe is in a wonderful position, hence its popularity. It is a small cafe and noise levels are uncomfortable inside when its busy. Unless the weather is just right its not comfortable outside either, and the wooden bench seats are too hard.
The food is quite good, although the desserts not so much.
I find their very strict policy of not splitting bills to be selfish and unreasonable. I had to leave before other friends at my table and was not allowed to pay my portion before I left. Unfortunately it is becoming typical of modern times that the restaurant does not put the customer first and allow what is a minor inconvenience to them! We all vowed we would not return to Parkers Beach Cafe. There are plenty of more accommodating restaurants in the area, and the beach can be enjoyed without cost. Not cool, Parkers!
