Unpretentious little shop opposite Parkdale train station which does a lickin’ good roast chicken. Awfully good value for money (half chicken, chips & coleslaw is $13).
Chicken is flavoursome, juicy & tender. Salads are great – we love the potato salad, coleslaw & the mushroom salad.
Guys working here are always very friendly.
I wish this is in the city where I work – I would have this for lunch everyday!

Sensational. Not only is the chicken great, but the owners are so honest. Daughter paid for dinner with a $50 note, but only got change for a $20. When we went back the next day, the owner cheerfully refunded the correct amount & apologised for any inconvenience. Honesty deserves to be rewarded -we will be back 🙂
