Quick lunch option for today. Medium occupancy, but still great service. Had a Benedict-able with salmon. To be honest it felt a bit plain Jane. I did check the menu again to see if they left something out, but no. Turkish bread, salmon, 2 poached eggs and Hollandese sauce. – a bit of spinach would jazzed it up for me for a 4 star. Partner had a burger w/chips. Burger was ok. Chips didn’t finish. A bit soggy. That’s all for today folks. I would return again and try a more complex dish to judge better. Cheers.
Called in for a lunch today at Parkers Cafe which was buzzing at the time we arrived. We were with our grandmother so waiting for a lower down table to free up and sat there. I ordered the giant wagyu beef burger which came with a very generous portion of cheese, pickles, and a really nice onion jam. The patty was really flavoursome and cooked towards well which I asked for. Chips were nice and crispy but I did need to season. Gran and
Kellie shared the number 2 toasted sandwich which was full of chicken plus plenty of cheese. The chicken tasted like chicken souvlaki and didnt have that reheated flavour you sometimes get which was great. The toasted sandwich was a little bland for
my taste but granny approved. They also shared a serve of banana bread which came with a coffee mascarpone spread and plenty of walnuts. Almond
Milk latte came with the sweetened almond milk variety which was a nice change.
