Friendly service, really nice food. Nicely spiced, well presented. The bread was excellent. Liked the backdrop of Bollywood videos. Enjoyed the night thoroughly.
Sithara Indian food is great. The best rice dishes, naan bread, and prawn madras is a favourite for me and my husband. The home made ice-cream is simply divine. We have been going to this restaurant weekly for years and the food is always excellent. It is a family run business and they are welcoming and friendly. Service is both efficient and timely. The tables have linen cloths and starched white napkins. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I highly recommend you give it a try!
I get sithara all the time because I really enjoy the food there. The owner is very nice and we always get great service. Me and my family go there at least once a fortnight and the onion bhaji is the best I have ever tasted. fantastic quality and if you are looking for a vegetarian meal you should try the Kofta Lajawab it is my favourite dish.
Attended last night with 10 guests. No drinks ordered.
Minimal size serves, dry rice, eg very tiny quantities of beef , 2cubes per person, bill was $430. Would never go back. Extremely dissatisfied with value for money! At $43 per head I would have expected a banquet! Nothing like the take away menu.
Visited this spot again recently
and unfortunately was disappointed, the food is just not what it used to
be both in quality and serving size. Service is still great though and would try
again if I was confident it could pick up the authenticity in the food, bring
back the old Tandoor Butter Chicken!
Not the cheapest Indian but one of the good ones. Palak Chicken was nice and mild and not to hot which I liked very much. A very clean restaurant and who I think is the manager was very welcoming.
Maybe we went to a different Sithara to the one others have reviewed. Very mediocre food. When Aloo Palak is a bowl of grey mush , something is not right. On the other hand, very good garlic naan and a plentiful supply of chilled water.
