Had lunch here and it was amazing. Firstly the decor is warm and welcoming – The view is amazing, right on the water front overlooking Raymond Island. Outdoor sitting is perfect. The food was amazing – lot’s of flavour and great presentation. Regional brewed beer served on tap too! A MUST try when in Paynesville. Will certainly be back

New wait staff very rude and service extremely slow. Used to be a lovely family venue. Waited 45mins for 3 drinks to be served. 2 milkshakes were ordered – the first one came out in one small glass, the second one came out in a glass AND a 3/4 full metal cup. Where is the consistency? Coffee was terrible and bitter so wasn’t able to drink it. After ordering a second drink as a replacement to the coffee and waiting even longer, my dog (who was tied up across the path as we were told he wasn’t allowed to be tied next to us), saw another dog walk past and gave it 2 or 3 short barks. After all this, the waitress then had the guts to come over and ask us to ‘make our dog be quiet’. How rude. After over 6 years of regular visits we will not be returning.
