Overall the lunch menu here is quite decent; not a bad experience here.
The sliced pork was a bit underwhelming – particularly the sauce which tasted a bland and uninspiring.
If you’re planning to come during dinner or any time other than this special: think again.
We went there on a wednesday night and it was quite cold inside the restaurant, not sure if the heater was on, given there were only one other couple dining inside. Food was average. The only dish worth mentioning is the eggplant dish. We were told they were closing at 9 and got kicked out 10 mins before. We had finished eating but could not hang around for a bit as you usually do.
It wasn’t busy during lunch time, so when we ordered our meal, it came out pretty quick.
We had a stir fried chicken Hokkien noodles, sauteed sliced pork with pepper and chili meal, and double cooked ox tongue meal.
Hokkien noodle was good enough. Ox tongue was nice, beautiful texture and I loved the garlic gravy on top. The sauteed sliced pork was tasty but the meat was a bit dry made it hard to chew.
There is room for improvement here, but overall we had a good experience, and would love to come back.
Don’t be deceived by the looks, this place has been my favorite China Chinese meal since they opened. Beautiful, fresh and good quality food. It was introduced by my Chinese friend and we have been going back ever since. I love the chili cold chicken and the clam& chicken noodle soup.
Been here couple times, at first I wouldn’t expect any good chinese food place in point cook, then I decide to try this one, food was great and tasty (fish slice in chilli sauce was great but not spicy enough for me, the stew pork on rice meal really good, slice stewed pork with chilli & pepper also great) staff also friendly, place a bit small but clean. Definitely coming back !
FYI : book your table when you want to come in groups on weekend

Surprisingly good! I have very low expectations of Asian places in point cook as past experiences have been subpar at best. However, the food that arrived on the table was delicious albeit a lil salty.
The eggplant dish (can’t remember what it is called) was especially good! I can foresee myself returning here.
