Snappas is our go to fish and chip shop! The store is always clean, everyone working there always friendly and quick to serve you. The food is always ready within 5 – 10 min from ordered. On our last visit they left our the flake by accident. When we called to check that we did order it they were most apologetic and delivered the flake to our home including a free bottle of drink. Cant fault these guys. The food is consistently perfect (in the way of the fish and chips).

A nice local go to for fish and chips. Chips are consistent, hot and fresh, and they have a clear menu and a nice selection of condiments. However the coating they use for the fish is floury and borders on uncooked dough, meaning I have to get through that before I can reach my fish– which sucks because the fish itself is generally moist and enjoyable. They use whole scallops which is always appreciated.

I come here all the time for fish n chips! It’s fantastic, the chips are so thick and crispy, steamed dim sims are to die for and the kiddies packs are huge! It’s not just a fish bite it’s like a piece of flake, great value for money!!

Not very good unfortunately. The fish was overcooked and powdery and had the strangest coating that seemed like it was trying to protect it from being eaten instead of providing a light, flaky texture. It also didn’t quite taste like fish but rather like old, fried chicken. The calamari wasn’t anything like calamari, it seemed processed and also had that powdery texture. The chips were stale, bitter and inedible. Not a great meal and went mostly uneaten even though we were starving.

This place was recommended to us by locals. Now it’s the only fish n chip shop we go to, when we have visitors and don’t feel like cooking this is where we go. Never had a bad batch, we really like their flake and the chips are always fresh and never too oily.

We loved the snapper & chips. First good fish we found near us. However the calamari needs improvement. Didnt taste fresh (maybe frozen). So for now we’ll stick to the yummy fish!

2nd time around unfortunately was just as bad as the 1st, gave them the benefit of the doubt but sorry won’t be back. The chips are generic and tasteless soggy and just below what you would expect, I ordered grilled fish (snapper); was obviously defrosted and just an awful texture also had an off ammonia smell which was unappetizing and well below average.
    Unfortunate and disappointing 🙁
